The NY Jets have announced the likely starter of the team for the 2012-2013 season: Bronx. Never heard of him? Well, he’s Tim Tebow’s pet dog. The little K-9 beat out both Mark Sanchez and Tim Tebow to claim the starting QB role. When asked in an post-practice interview where he learned his moves, Bronx responded, “Back in Denver, I got tired of watching Tim Tebow on Sundays. So I turned on Air Bud and watched it over and over. It was an inspiration.” He continued, “I’m also very thankful because not many dogs are given this opportunity.” Bronx also plays corner back on defense and is in competition with Antonio Cromartie for the starting spot.
